I directed this short as part of a filmmaking competition. The rules: Tell the story of someone who’s making a difference in the world. Shoot it in ONE day, with a crew of no more than three, and make it under five minutes. The result is our touching story of redemption for former San Quentin inmate Ronnie Goodman. Mill Valley Film Festival — Official Selection, Story & Heart Film Festival — Most Impact Winner.

Below are excerpts from the 38 min film, which you can watch here.
